Legacy as a Benefit®
Leigh Piccolo serves as President and Chief Legacy Officer at Legacy as a Benefit®, where she acts as the organization’s second-in-command and the principal steward of the firm’s legacy-planning framework. In this role, Leigh is responsible for helping ensure the integrity, consistency, and long-term effectiveness of every Legacy as a Benefit® design implemented across the system.
Leigh oversees legacy strategy, plan architecture, and client outcomes — working at the intersection of compensation, estate planning, and long-term financial security. She works closely with executive leadership, legal and tax professionals, and internal teams to help ensure each plan aligns with federal guidelines, employer objectives, and the multi-generational goals of participating employees.
As Chief Legacy Officer, Leigh serves as the guardian of LAAB’s intellectual framework — translating complex planning concepts into clear, structured strategies that are scalable, and sustainable over time. Her leadership helps ensure that Legacy as a Benefit® is not merely a benefit offering, but a durable, repeatable system that delivers meaningful value across careers, families, and generations.
Leigh’s role is central to LAAB’s mission: helping organizations move beyond transactional compensation toward intentional, legacy-driven planning that strengthens culture, retention, and long-term impact.
